I loved using watercolors in my last project, so I decided to make a more concise painting for my next project. For this piece I used watercolor, pencil, markers and colored pencils.
Advanced Art Project
During this project, I decided to play around with watercolor. I did multiple pieces throughout my project time, and used pencil, water color paper, and water colors. Here is one piece I did, which I was playing around with color mixing and shapes.
How does value alter perspective? The value of a piece of artwork puts the art in a realistic realm where shadows, light, material, and shape determine an objects appearance. By adding value to art, it shows the position of the thing you are drawing and helps it to look more realistic. If you change the perspective of an object, the position of the shadows and light on it will change. If you apply this to art, value shows what and where your object is.
